About the Game

Mad Maze is a first-person online co-op horror experience for 1 to 4 players. Trapped inside a claustrophobic labyrinth that procedurally reconstructs itself with every single match, your objective is simple: work together to solve puzzles, gather crucial items, and unlock the exit.

But beware... danger lurks in the shadows of every corridor, and the social dynamics can shift in the blink of an eye. Will you coordinate as a tight-knit team, or will you sabotage your companions to guarantee your own survival?

Gameplay and Structure

• Procedural Generation: At the start of every match, the labyrinth is generated procedurally from a variety of distinct room modules. This ensures that every run features a completely new layout and structure to navigate, preventing players from memorizing the map.
• PvPvE Interaction: Cooperation is the key to solving the puzzles efficiently, but survival resources are limited. Players can optionally use conflict items found in the maze—such as Tasers, baseball bats, and traps—to defend themselves, create opportunities, or disrupt others.
  
• Proximity Voice Chat: The game features built-in spatial audio. Communication is realistic, meaning your voice carries through the corridors and can be heard by nearby teammates—or by the creatures hunting you.
  
• Defenseless Survival: Players have no means of fighting or defeating the monsters. Survival relies entirely on stealth, keeping quiet, and utilizing hiding spots like wardrobes scattered throughout the rooms.

A Maze of Monsters

The maze is inhabited by a serious of monsters that will try to stop you from escaping this nightmare

• The Bellboy: Eternally bound to patrol and maintain order in the hotel. He gets highly irritated by unexpected guests, searching the rooms, listening for noises, and giving chase the moment he spots a player.
  
• The Spider: Crawls along the corridor ceilings of the hotel, constantly on the lookout for its next prey. Keep your eyes up.
  
• The Mimic: Takes the form of ordinary objects and spends its time sleeping. It remains harmless until disturbed—attacking anyone foolish enough to wake it up
• The Shy Guy: Obsessed with any human that crosses its path, this entity will follow you as long as you are in its sight. However, its shyness takes over the moment you look directly back at it, freezing it in place.
  
• The Spring Monkey: A haunting painting that functions like a jack-in-the-box, spring-loaded to strike whenever a player dares to break the room's established rules.
